EW!DC Welcomes Redskins Celebrities to Savoy Elementary

The students of Savoy Elementary cheered as Everybody Wins! DC surprised them with a special reading event with Redskins players: Houston Bates, Lee Hightower, Arie Kouandijo, Anthony Lanier II, Isaiah Williams, Redskins alumnus, Ravin Caldwell, and Redskins Cheerleaders Masako and Kara. EW!DC teamed up with the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation to host this event which benefited all 4th and 5th grade students at the school, as well as those students in EW!DC's Power Lunch program.

Dr. Molly Teas Named Executive Director of Everybody Wins! DC

Washington, DC, November 28, 2016 - The Board of Directors of Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC) is pleased to announce that Dr. Molly Teas has been named the new Executive Director.

 

 

Molly will be responsible for working with the Board and leading the staff to deliver on EW!DC's mission of promoting children's literacy and a love of learning through shared reading experiences with caring individuals, supporting the organization's long-term financial sustainability, and building public awareness and support for EW!DC's work. She brings extensive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector and in bringing about sustainable change through innovative education approaches.

EW!DC Teams Up with Firms for 10th Annual Lawyers for Literacy

On Wednesday, November 16th, Everybody Wins! DC (EW! DC) hosted our Tenth Annual Lawyers for Literacy Trivia Challenge at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Nine teams from many of the area's leading law firms competed to win title of Litterae Magister (Master of Literacy). DC Quizzomaster, Neal Racioppo, asked a range of challenging questions on subjects ranging from sports and literature, to the marital history of some noted TV hosts.

AgriBank and EW!DC Raise Funds for Children's Literacy

DC (EW!DC), the Washington Metropolitan Area’s largest children’s literacy and mentoring non-profit, to present the 2016 AgriBank Ag Open golf tournament on Tuesday, September 6th at Queenstown Harbor.

The Capital One Investing Scramble Was a Hole In One!

On Monday, July 25th, 70 golfers gathered at Westfields Golf Club to celebrate the 20th anniversary of EW!DC's Scramble Golf Tournament.
