Everybody Wins! DC’s mission is to bring the joy of reading to students in the DC Metro Area. EW!DC is currently in its 22nd year of serving low-income elementary school students in the Washington area. With the help of our volunteers, supporters, and friends, EW!DC has been able to serve over 65,000 students, distribute more than 210,000 new books, and enrich the lives of thousands of Reading Mentors.

We need the assistance of stakeholders like you to continue bringing the magic of reading to children in our community. I hope that you will make a contribution to help us continue improving the lives of our students.

Everybody Wins! DC participates in both the United Way Campaign of the National Capital Area and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Please view the flyer for information on how to designate funds/make payroll deductions and  see what a difference your contribution will make.  Our United Way Code: 8813 and CFC Code: 12915.  For any questions please contact David Wilks at (202) 216-9467 ext. 202.

As a member of Local Independent Charities of America (LIC), we participate in their online donation programs. EW!DC does a lot with a little. Every dollar counts.

Donate now and make a difference in the lives of children. When we receive your donation, you will receive an acknowledgment in the mail as a receipt for tax purposes. Thank you for your support.

We are always in need of new books to use in many ways. Each school year EW!DC distributes more than 14,000 books to our students and keeps book carts full at each Power Lunch school. Make a donation of books or view our wish list of the most popular books. Consider holding a new book drive at your office! Please contact Nicole Townsend at (202) 216-9467 ext. 200 or or more information on donating books.

"It's a fantastic program, and I think the mentors get as much, if not more, than the student. You meet wonderful kids and have lots of fun."
"When I read, I learn and grow-- you know, like Jack and the Beanstalk kind of growing and that's really big!"
"I wish Everybody Wins was everyday!"
